Therapy is an opportunity to grow and make peace with the challenges you face.

What is it that brought you here?

Maybe you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, relationships, career, finances, family, spirituality or identity. Or, you’re feeling stuck in a pattern that just isn’t working, and are ready for something (anything!) to change.

No matter where you are on your journey through life, therapy can provide you with a support system that encourages you to thrive.

I work with adult individuals of any age. I also have special interest and experience in working with following groups:

People dealing with grief and loss

Human beings grieve many different kinds of losses, such as the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, the loss of a role or our identity, or our hopes and dreams for the future. When it comes to grief, the only rule is that there are no rules. Grief is a natural and universal human experience, but we all move through it in different ways. Although many people talk about the “stages of grief,” grief is unpredictable and nonlinear. My approach involves supporting you, with deep compassion and an open heart, wherever you are in your grieving process.

People with life-limiting illness, and their care partners

Getting diagnosed with and living with serious illness can be devastating; common experiences may include feelings of grief, sadness, frustration and anger. Illness can force us to confront our fears or other feelings around death or the loss of a loved one. I am passionate about supporting people living with serious illness, and their families, to work through and come to terms with emotional and spiritual issues to find acceptance, meaning and even room for joy.

Older Adults

Later in life, you may feel challenged to stay engaged and maintain a sense of identity and purpose when your working years are over. Or perhaps you are struggling to find meaning and value in a world very different from the one you grew up in. You have a lifetime of experiences and wisdom that we can draw upon to find a new way forward.
